The role

Eliot is hiring a Forensic Behavioral Health Specialist to join their Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) team. This role focuses on providing outreach support, clinical interventions, and rehabilitation services to adults with severe mental illness and a history of criminal engagement. The specialist works closely with clients to assist with daily living skills, symptom management, and navigating court-mandated obligations.

What you'll do

  • Provide outreach and medication support to forensic PACT clients living in the community.
  • Deliver side-by-side interventions focusing on problem-solving and skills training.
  • Conduct ongoing assessment of client symptoms and behavioral responses to interventions.
  • Facilitate client participation in pro-social activities and interpersonal skill development.
  • Provide transportation assistance for court, work, and medical appointments.

What it takes

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, criminal justice, social work, or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience working with the specialized forensic population.
  • Proven ability to establish therapeutic relationships with individuals having histories of unsuccessful community tenure.
  • Valid Massachusetts Driver's License.
