The role
IsraAID is seeking a Finance Officer to oversee financial, accounting, and some administrative operations in the Vanuatu Country Office. The role involves financial forecasting, reporting, and compliance, as well as working closely with the Country Director and other staff.
What you'll do
- In charge of expenses forecasting and control
- Regular and ad hoc financial reporting and analyses
- Ensure internal and external compliance
- In charge of bookkeeping, cash management, payroll, payments, and bank management
- Work closely with Country Director, Procurement and Logistics Officer, and program staff
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget
What it takes
- Intermediate or higher working level of Excel
- Intermediate or higher working level of Xero
- University degree in Finance Management or another related field
- 1-2 years Experience in financial management and accounting, ideally in the non-profit sector
- Excellent people skills, with experience collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team
- Able to work independently and with a team
