The role
The Finance Manager is responsible for leading the finance function in the Country Office, ensuring accurate financial planning, budgeting, and reporting, and managing internal controls and compliance with statutory and donor requirements.
What you'll do
- Lead preparation and consolidation of annual/quarterly operational and program budgets
- Review budget vs. actual performance monthly
- Ensure timely, accurate financial and management reporting
- Manage effective payroll processes
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations
- Supervise, mentor, and build the capacity of finance, procurement, and administrative staff
What it takes
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field
- Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, CMA, or equivalent) is required
- At least 8-10 years progressive experience in accounting and financial management
- Solid knowledge of accounting standards, donor compliance, budgeting, and internal control frameworks
- Experience managing finance teams and providing oversight of procurement, payroll, administrative, and/or partner financial-management functions
- Fluency in English and Urdu, and fluency in any other language spoken in the country will be an asset
