The Finance Associate provides leadership in execution of financial services ensuring effective and transparent utilization of financial resources and integrity of financial services.
What you'll do
- Support administration and implementation of operational strategies and adapt processes and procedures.
- Ensure CO financial activities are compliant with UNDP policies and strategies.
- Prepare reports on the CO financial situation.
- Provide administrative support to the Finance Unit, including document management and cash flow forecasting.
What it takes
- Fully Qualified Accountant or completion of UNDP FTCP
- 7 years (with high school diploma) or 4 years (with bachelor’s degree) of finance and accounting experience
- Advanced knowledge of spreadsheets and web-based management systems such as ERP financials
- Knowledge of IPSAS and/or IFRS
