The role
Sightsavers is seeking organizations to deliver digital entrepreneurship interventions for persons with disabilities in Nigeria as part of the Digital Futures program.
What you'll do
- Mobilize eligible persons with disabilities
- Conduct accessibility-informed needs assessment
- Design and deliver relevant training content
- Provide post-training business development support
- Support participants to develop business plans
- Contribute to the selection of beneficiaries for seed funding
What it takes
- Proven experience in disability inclusion, economic empowerment, digital skills, entrepreneurship, livelihoods, or related programming
- Capacity to reach and support women with disabilities and other underrepresented disability groups
- Experience delivering accessible training or community-based capacity building
- Demonstrated strong competences in digital accessibility
- Strong financial management, reporting, safeguarding, and data protection practices
- Existing partnerships with disability-inclusive financial institutions
