The role
The Early Childhood Urban Design Consultant will support the implementation of a project aimed at improving public spaces for children and caregivers in São Paulo and Curitiba, Brazil.
What you'll do
- Develop and implement the Technical Work Plan for the consultancy
- Participate in meetings, workshops, training sessions, and project-related missions
- Prepare periodic reports describing carried out activities and development status of deliverables
- Coordinate methodological and logistical preparation of activities including research, stakeholder consultations, and meetings
- Ensure technical quality, methodological consistency, and alignment with UN-Habitat standards across all deliverables and activities
What it takes
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture and Urbanism is required
- Postgraduate degree (Lato Sensu or Stricto Sensu) in related fields is required
- Minimum of seven years of experience in urban development, public spaces planning, and urban design in Brazil
- Experience in the design and implementation of projects related to public space, urban planning, and early childhood development
- Experience in coordinating and facilitating participatory processes
