The role
The Director of Health Center Operations provides strategic and operational leadership for all PPCWNY health centers, ensuring high-quality, accessible, and efficient patient care.
What you'll do
- Translate Health Services strategy into operational priorities
- Develop and execute affiliate-wide operational strategies
- Accountable for health center operational performance
- Lead initiatives to expand patient access
- Directly supervise the Assistant Director, Health Center Operations and the Health Services Training Manager
- Ensure operational leaders reinforce training expectations
What it takes
- Bachelor’s degree in health care administration, business, public administration, management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of five years of progressively responsible healthcare operations leadership experience
- Demonstrated experience leading managers, developing leaders, and building accountability
- Direct accountability for operational budgets, staffing effectiveness, and performance against financial and operational goals
- Experience implementing, standardizing, and sustaining operational improvements
- Experience partnering effectively with clinical leadership, compliance, quality, finance, human resources, information technology, and other support functions
