The role
The Director of Artemis House, Region 1 is responsible for the day-to-day operations of an emergency shelter for persons fleeing domestic and sexual violence, ensuring consistent programming and effective coordination of services.
What you'll do
- Provide leadership, direction, and oversight for all components of service delivery
- Collaborate with the Director of Artemis House Region III to ensure consistent programming
- Ensure the case management team implements a trauma-informed, client-driven approach
- Coordinate and oversee facility maintenance and manage contractors and vendors
- Provide coaching and professional development support to direct reports
- Ensure team culture is one of curiosity, learning, and engagement

- A master’s degree in human services or related field
- 3+ years of program and staff management experience
- Experience managing budgets and funding sources
- Strong public speaking and communication skills
- Valid Driver’s License
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends
