The role
As a Day Habilitation Specialist at Anderson Center for Autism in Wappingers Falls, NY, you will support adults with autism in achieving personal goals and enhancing their quality of life through structured programming and community experiences.
What you'll do
- Ensure day-to-day safety, supervision, and engagement of program participants
- Maintain accountability for Individualized Service Plan (ISP) goals
- Attend to educational, physical, social, and emotional needs of residents
- Help develop and implement Individualized Service Plans (ISPs)
- Facilitate activities and plan outings
- Work with colleagues to support program participants

- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid NYS Driver's License
- 21 years of age or older
- Ability to initiate or assist in crisis intervention
- Qualifications in health, safety, and crisis intervention procedures
- Completion of agency training
