The role

Habitat for Humanity International is seeking a Credit & Portfolio Analyst to join Habitat Capital, a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), to support the creation and increase of affordable housing and community development across the US.

What you'll do

  • Conduct credit analysis, due diligence and structuring for investment and real estate transaction
  • Support the creation of written investment memo for internal investment committee
  • Interface with multiple internal and external to support all aspects of deal lifecycle from prospecting through closing
  • Conduct financial modelling of new financial products
  • Provide technical assistance to potential or current applicants
  • Support portfolio management and investor relations

What it takes

  • Undergraduate degree in a related field
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in affordable housing, community development, finance, real estate development, nonprofit management or similar
  • Credit training and commercial underwriting experience
  • Fluency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Interest in CDFI lending, tax credits, impact investing
