Responsibilities include preparing and storing food, ensuring food is presented in an appealing and timely manner, and maintaining cleanliness of work areas.

What you'll do

Prepare and store food following prescribed recipes and product specifications
Ensure food is presented in an appealing and timely manner
Assist in food cost and control by progressively cooking, batch cooking, monitoring temperatures
Practice excellent food service and sanitation practices in accordance with HAACP guidelines
Maintain cleanliness of work areas including daily cleaning and sanitizing of equipment, prep areas and work stations
Report all defective equipment to appropriate Assistant Manager

Must be at least 18 years old
Must be able to obtain base security clearance
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Some food service experience necessary
Knowledge of basic mathematic calculations
Able to understand written and/or verbal instructions
