What you'll do

  • Develop a regional mapping of disability variables implemented in LAC censuses and household surveys from 2010 onwards
  • Conduct critical reviews of questionnaires, field manuals, training materials, data collection protocols, technical reports, metadata, and relevant documentation
  • Design and conduct qualitative consultations with national statistical offices across BID regions
  • Systematize findings through thematic analysis to identify common patterns, relevant divergences, transferable best practices, and lessons learned
  • Analyze microdata from censuses and household surveys that have incorporated Washington Group questions

What it takes

  • Master's degree in statistics, economics, sociology, demography, public health, public policies, social sciences or related fields
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience with national statistical offices or other data producers in LAC
  • Specific experience with Washington Group questions, cognitive tests, questionnaire design, training of interviewers and data collection processes
