The role
The Research Director will own GiveDirectly's learning agenda for Emergency Cash (EC) Programs, including setting research priorities and standards, leading impact evaluations, and mentoring staff.
What you'll do
- Own the 'canonical' Theory of Change for GD’s emergency cash product
- Define and drive prioritization for impact-focused learning questions
- Represent RME at leadership level in opportunity scoping and proposal design
- Set standards for data collection processes, quality checks, analyses, etc.
- Directly own strategic research projects on emergency cash programs
