The role
Apoyar técnicamente y operativamente la preparación y supervisión de operaciones de préstamo y cooperaciones técnicas en el sector educación, incluyendo el diseño de componentes, matrices de resultados, análisis de riesgos y documentación operativa.
What you'll do
- Support technical and operational preparation and supervision of loan and technical cooperation operations in the education sector.
- Provide technical assistance to executing entities during project preparation and execution.
- Support the preparation, review, and follow-up of fiduciary and procurement processes.
- Monitor the physical and financial progress of operations and analyze performance indicators.
- Support the development of analytical and technical products for the design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of programs and projects financed by the Bank.
- Articulate technical activities, meetings, workshops, and missions with executing entities, Bank specialists, and other relevant actors.
What it takes
- Master's degree in economics, administration, education, or other relevant fields.
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in project execution, public policies, education planning, or related areas.
- Fluency in Spanish and English, oral and written. Knowledge of French and Portuguese is desirable.
- Citizenship: Must be a citizen of one of the 48 member countries of the Bank. Must be eligible to work in the location(s) of the position without the need for sponsorship.
- No family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the BID, BID Invest, or BID Lab.
