The role
CBM is seeking a qualified consultant or consulting team to lead an Inclusive Multi-Sector Needs Assessment (MSNA) in selected crisis-affected areas of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
What you'll do
- Identify and analyse priority humanitarian needs and vulnerabilities
- Assess barriers to accessing humanitarian assistance and essential services
- Assess the availability, accessibility, quality and inclusiveness of essential services
- Examine protection risks and inclusion concerns
- Generate recommendations on geographic focus, sectoral priorities, targeting, partnerships and implementation modalities for future humanitarian programming
What it takes
- Advanced university degree in humanitarian studies, public health, social sciences, development studies, statistics or related fields
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in humanitarian assessments and research
- Proven experience conducting Multi-Sector Needs Assessments (MSNAs) in humanitarian settings
- Strong expertise in mixed-methods assessments and data analysis
- Previous experience with ECHO-funded programmes and/or humanitarian proposal development
- Demonstrated experience in disability inclusion and inclusive humanitarian action
