The role

The consultant will work with the Ministry of Health (MoH), Rwanda Biomedical Centre (RBC), Technical Working Groups (TWGs), and key stakeholders including the UN, Development Partners and Civil Society Organizations.

What you'll do

  • Conduct a comprehensive desk review of relevant policy, programmatic, and assessment documents
  • Map and track all recommendations from past Human Rights and National Gender Assessments
  • Assess the level of implementation of recommendations
  • Identify achievements, good practices, gaps, bottlenecks, and enabling factors influencing programming and implementation
  • Support integration of findings into GC8 continuation application narratives and priorities

What it takes

  • Advanced degree (Masters) in public health, social sciences, gender studies or related fields
  • At least 5 years of experience in HIV/TB programming, public health, or health systems strengthening
  • Proven experience and track record in human rights and gender analysis/assessments in health programs
