The role
Wilson Construction Environmental Services is seeking an Environmental Scientist to support their Rancho Cordova and El Dorado Hills, California offices.
What you'll do
- Conducting field monitoring and inspecting for environmental compliance
- Tracking current bids and projects
- Estimating and managing project environmental costs
- Developing plans to meet mitigation requirements on a given project
- Implementing erosion and stormwater controls at construction sites
- Availability to travel as needed
What it takes
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Natural Resources, Biology, or another related field.
- Work experience in a related/relevant field (biology, storm water, geology, hydrology, etc.).
- Experience conducting and documenting field work.
- Stormwater experience or certifications preferred.
- Experience in environmental permitting or compliance, including CWA, RHA, ESA, Section 106, NEPA, CEQA, etc. preferred.
- Capable of performing strenuous fieldwork and walking long distances.
