The role
The position will support the implementation of the IRC's Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) projects in IRC facilities as assigned from time to time within Rohingya Refugee Camps and the host community. The Clinical SRH Manager will ensure the delivery of high-quality sexual and reproductive healthcare services through direct monitoring and mentorship of Medical Doctors and/or midwives.
What you'll do
- Plan and implement SRH activities such as BEmONC services, Family Planning, Syndromic management of Sexually Transmitted Infections, Menstrual Regulation, Post-abortion care, Normal Vaginal Delivery, Clinical management of sexual assault and Health education.
- Provide technical oversight, leadership, guidance and training to field-based health staff in the area of Sexual and Reproductive Health.
- Ensure proper SRH data recording in IRC-supported health facilities.
- Work closely with Senior Managers for implementing strategies to increase Family Planning (FP) uptake.
- Develop awareness-raising messages with other colleagues to promote emergency SRH services.
- Undertake regular field monitoring visits.
What it takes
- At least 3 years of clinical experience in Sexual and Reproductive Health at the hospital level
- Clear interest in, and work experience with MISP
- At least 1 year of experience in the management of health facilities and staff
- Post-Graduation Training (PGT) in gynecology and obstetrics
- Skills to provide sensitive and appropriate medical counseling
- Excellent communication skills
