The role
The Greater Cleveland Food Bank is seeking a Children’s Program Manager to manage and grow School Market Distributions, Backpacks for Kids program, and in-school pantry programs, focusing on partnership development and innovation.
What you'll do
- Manage and grow School Market Distributions, Backpacks for Kids program, and in-school pantry programs
- Work with the Community Health & Research team to identify underserved and saturated areas
- Attend regular planning meetings and coordinate sustainable growth across the organization
- Utilize technology and new systems to simplify school market produce distribution planning, scheduling, and fulfillment
- Work with the Nutrition Team to coordinate the distribution and planning of healthy recipes, tips, cooking demos, and other educational tools
- Attend Feeding America conference calls and webinars to share best practices on program development
What it takes
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
- Three years of management experience in social services/programs
- Supervisory experience in human services/non-profit
- Previous database management experience
- Willingness to travel for the organization with short notice
- Strong leadership and communication skills
