The role
The Budget and Finance Intern will assist in the review, consolidation, and collection of inputs supporting the preparation of annual financial statements and related disclosures.
What you'll do
- Assist in the review, consolidation, and collection of inputs supporting the preparation of annual financial statements and related disclosures.
- Prepare donor contribution receipts and support the preparation of documentation related to the recognition and recording of contributions.
- Support budget-related discussions and decisions arising from Executive Board meetings and other governing body sessions.
- Assist in monitoring budget implementation and expenditure trends, identifying variances, potential risks, and areas requiring regularization.
- Support the organization, development, and maintenance of section records, reference material, templates, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

- Enrolled in a graduate school programme or final year of a first university degree program
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Fluency in oral and written English is required; knowledge of another UN language is desirable.
- Experience in an international and multicultural environment is desirable.
