The role
The San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living (SFCJL) is seeking a Bilingual Life Enrichment Coordinator to plan and lead programs that enhance the emotional, social, and recreational well-being of residents in assisted living and memory care settings.
What you'll do
- Provide ongoing opportunities for therapeutic self-expression for residents
- Facilitate programs that encourage social interaction
- Create a positive, caring, and stimulating environment
- Motivate residents to participate in Life Enrichment programs
- Support the psychosocial needs of residents and families
- Complete required documentation in a timely manner
What it takes
- Bachelor’s degree in recreational therapy, psychology, social work, healthcare, or related field
- Two (2) years of experience working with older adults
- Bilingual written and conversational (Chinese)
- Excellent organizational, communication, and group facilitation skills
- Sensitivity to diverse physical, emotional, cognitive, and cultural needs
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
