The role
The position involves managing payroll, entitlements and movements and records for designated portfolios in the Human Resources Services Division at UNRWA's Damascus office.
What you'll do
- Assist in the management of assigned activities related to staff and personnel compliance with regulations
- Prepare and check Personnel Action Forms and other documents related to the assigned portfolio
- Maintain records and prepare summaries for supervisor
- Ensure correct processing of payroll elements on HRM System
- Respond to queries from staff members and departments/programmes
What it takes
- University degree in human resource management, business or public administration
- Three years of relevant experience in an international organization
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications
- UN Language Framework Level II in English and Arabic
- Experience with electronic archiving and retrieval systems is desirable
