The role

The Associate Director for United Nations Advocacy is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to influence UN agencies, the Security Council, and member states to advance the IRC's humanitarian objectives. This role acts as a key focal point for UN-related policy, providing strategic advice and thought leadership based on the organization's field experience. The incumbent will represent the IRC in high-level diplomatic meetings, manage complex stakeholder relationships, and translate technical data into actionable policy narratives.
