The role
The IDB Group is seeking a Policy Support Consultant to support the Venezuela Country Team in formulating public policies aimed at addressing the crisis and promoting economic recovery.
What you'll do
- Supporting interventions focused on the country’s reconstruction and recovery
- Identifying, conceptualizing, and designing interventions to mitigate the impact of the crisis
- Analyzing public policy actions for strengthening institutions and addressing challenges related to FCCV
- Engaging with international stakeholders and preparing reports
- Reviewing legislative proposals and the international framework
What it takes
- Master’s degree in public policy, law, economics or related fields
- At least 5 years of experience in public policy analysis and formulation
- Proficiency in English and Spanish
- Citizenship from one of IDB's 48-member countries
