The role

The IDB Group is seeking a Policy Support Consultant to support the Venezuela Country Team in formulating public policies aimed at addressing the crisis and promoting economic recovery.

What you'll do

  • Supporting interventions focused on the country’s reconstruction and recovery
  • Identifying, conceptualizing, and designing interventions to mitigate the impact of the crisis
  • Analyzing public policy actions for strengthening institutions and addressing challenges related to FCCV
  • Engaging with international stakeholders and preparing reports
  • Reviewing legislative proposals and the international framework

What it takes

  • Master’s degree in public policy, law, economics or related fields
  • At least 5 years of experience in public policy analysis and formulation
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Citizenship from one of IDB's 48-member countries
