The role
The Administration and Finance Analyst will manage the day-to-day financial operations for a project under the overall guidance of the Project Manager.
What you'll do
- Ensure implementation of Financial Management and Accounting
- Manage the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring full compliance with UNDP rules, regulations, policies, and NIM/DIM procedures
- Process payment requests, disbursements, and travel claims accurately within the UNDP ERP system
- Maintain a robust internal expenditure control system and monitor financial exception reports
What it takes
- A professional accounting qualification from an internationally accredited institute of accountancy or Advanced (master’s) University Degree in Finance and/or Accounting
- Experience managing donor-funded projects, preferably with UN agencies, international organizations, or development partners
- Proven experience in financial reporting, budget preparation, monitoring, cash flow forecasting, and expenditure analysis
- Experience coordinating administrative and operational activities for multi-stakeholder projects
