The role

The IDB Group is seeking an Accounting Senior Associate to join the Accounting Policy, Trust Fund, and Pension Reporting Group (ACC/PTR) within the Finance Department. The role involves supporting financial reporting, compliance, and audit processes for various trust funds and benefit plans.

What you'll do

  • Support the monitoring and assessment of accounting and financial reporting requirements.
  • Assist in evaluating the potential impact of newly issued or proposed accounting standards.
  • Contribute to the implementation of new accounting standards and financial reporting requirements.
  • Support the financial reporting process for the Bank’s portfolio of benefit plans and trust funds.
  • Assist in the performance, documentation, and evaluation of controls over the financial reporting process.
  • Support the annual external audit process for benefit plans and trust funds.

What it takes

  • Master’s degree in Accounting or relevant field.
  • CPA or equivalent professional accounting certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of SAP General Ledger.
  • Experience in Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) standards.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
