The role
The Academy Coach will develop U8-U14 youth Volleyball players at the YMCA of Central Texas, delivering quality sports guidance and education within the Y Volleyball Academy program.
What you'll do
- Deliver quality sports guidance and education
- Help players realize their development potential
- Conduct weekly organized training sessions
- Participate in player evaluations and scrimmages
- Coach weekend league games and tournaments
- Conduct parent meetings
What it takes
- College or elite level coaching experience
- High School Diploma/GED, some college preferred
- 1-5+ years of coaching experience required
- Base level to top level certification by and member of National Agency
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to attract, maintain, lead, and motivate quality staff and volunteer leadership
