AVM Conference 2026

About the event

Two online days for people who recruit, lead and support volunteers at UK charities, with low-cost day tickets open to non-members. An inexpensive way to meet volunteer managers and hear what the role looks like across organisations.

Who's hiring

3,564 open Human Resources or Programs & Operations roles on ForGood. These organizations are hiring for the kind of work this event covers, so they are good people to look for there.

Make it count

• Look through the organizations hiring in your field before you go, and pick a handful you most want to meet.
• Go to sessions where those organizations are speaking, and ask a question. Speakers remember the people who ask.
• Follow up within two days of meeting someone. A short note that mentions what you talked about is enough.
• Many events have discounted or volunteer places for students and people between jobs. Check the official site.
