The role

Youth Worker position in Crosscare's East Wicklow Youth Service, delivering youth work programmes and interventions, working with young people in the catchment area of Arklow, Wicklow Town, and Rathdrum.

What you'll do

Implement programmes, groups, and drop-ins in line with funding requirements
Spend 70% of work hours in direct contact with young people
Establish new programmes and projects as required
Deliver outreach to engage young people not using the service
Organise and participate in residentials occasionally
Attend training relevant to the work as required

What it takes

3rd level degree in Youth Work or other relevant discipline
1 year’s experience within the sector would be advantageous
Full clean driving licence and own transport
