The role
The Youth Site Coordinator will develop, market, and implement educational and recreational programs for youth ages 11-19 years at the In Control site in Rochester, NY.
What you'll do
- Fosters a culture that empowers youth to identify and utilize their individual strengths
- Coordinates programming that is engaging and relevant to youth and their families
- Maintains a clean and safe environment
- Provides linkage and referral for educational, social, emotional, vocation, and health services
- Assists in monitoring youth staff accountability
- Maintains records for programming activities

- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in health sciences, human services, psychology, sociology, communications, public relations
- 1-2 years experience overseeing and/or leading positive youth development programming
- Experience in a community educator role and cultural competence with a demographic population
- Experience working with diverse racial and socio-economic populations
