The role
Supports the Youth and Education team in implementing a volunteer tutoring program for recently resettled youth.
What you'll do
- Make phone calls to identify students interested in the program
- Onboard and interview potential community volunteers
- Complete pairings for new volunteers with eligible students
- Coordinate initial meeting times between the student, volunteer, and program supervisor
- Facilitate the initial introduction meeting between the tutor and student (if available)
- Document and case note each step of the process
