The role

Supports the Youth and Education team in implementing a volunteer tutoring program for recently resettled youth.

What you'll do

  • Make phone calls to identify students interested in the program
  • Onboard and interview potential community volunteers
  • Complete pairings for new volunteers with eligible students
  • Coordinate initial meeting times between the student, volunteer, and program supervisor
  • Facilitate the initial introduction meeting between the tutor and student (if available)
  • Document and case note each step of the process
