The role
Eliot is seeking a Youth Advocate Coordinator to oversee and coordinate staff and youth in their Juvenile Justice residential program for court-involved youth aged 13-21.
What you'll do
- Coordinate daily activities for staff and youth
- Supervise direct care staff ensuring policies are adhered to and expectations are met
- Ensure safety and security, including security checks
- Assist in developing and implementing Individual Service Plans (ISPs)
- Promote teamwork among staff and youth, fostering a supportive environment
- Help youth identify goals and interests
- Cultivate a positive program environment
- Assign and lead daily group activities
- Serve as an advocate and role model for youth
What it takes
- Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or related field
