The role
Action for Children is seeking a Young Persons Practitioner to provide support to homeless or at-risk young people aged 16-25 in Omagh and Fermanagh, with a fixed-term contract until March 2027.
What you'll do
- Provide responsive and flexible service for young people aged 16-25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness
- Deliver creative, flexible, and effective floating support service
- Develop individual support plans focused on the young person's needs
- Support young people around benefits issues and assist in application for benefits
- Provide advice and guidance in relation to life skills such as budgeting, shopping, cooking, laundry

- Diploma Level 3 or equivalent in Social Care / Youth Work / Youth and Community/ Health and Social Care
- Experience of working with young people aged 16-25
- Good IT skills
- Experience of report writing and record keeping
