The role

The Western Maryland Land Manager provides support to The Nature Conservancy (TNC) by planning and executing land management activities on TNC preserves and partner lands in western Maryland, focusing on ecological management and preserve custodial care.

  • Support ecological management and preserve custodial care
  • Prepare fire lines, prescribed fire operations, mop-up, pre- and post-burn monitoring
  • Collaborate with the Land Management and Stewardship Team for preserve maintenance
