The role

The Washington Director of External Engagement will build and expand strategic partnerships across the Washington government and non-government policy community, focusing on government relations, stakeholder engagement, and policy communications.

What you'll do

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to expand IPF’s relationships with key U.S. government audiences
  • Build and maintain key relationships across those audiences
  • Plan and execute USG-facing events
  • Lead the drafting and dissemination of electronic communications
  • Draft internal and external communications
  • Work in a hybrid and remote work environment

What it takes

  • Bachelor’s degree; master’s degree preferred
  • 7–10 years of professional experience
  • In-depth knowledge of Israel-related issues
  • Extensive understanding of Congress and the U.S. political system
