The role
The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Associate for a temporary, part-time position (28 hours/week) to assist with warehouse operations, sales floor replenishment, and customer service.
What you'll do
- Perform replenishment of the sales floor multiple times a day
- Assist in preparing merchandise for sales floor
- Maintain neat appearance of Store and Warehouse
- Organize and maintain back stock area in the warehouse and off-site storage areas
- Assist in cycle counting and end of fiscal year inventory
- Assist with other Museum Store duties
What it takes
- High school or equivalent, college coursework preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in retail sales or warehouse environment
- Familiarity with operating hand trucks and pallet jacks
- Ability to work with a computer inventory system and communicate with a radio/walkie
- Ability to work effectively with the public and co-workers
- Demonstrated punctuality and dependability
