The role
The United Nations Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS) is seeking a Short-Term National UN Volunteer to conduct a comprehensive physical inventory verification, reconcile existing inventory records, and facilitate the categorization and disposition of assets in the UNDSS warehouse in Ramallah and the Jerusalem office.
What you'll do
- Conduct a comprehensive physical verification of all UNDSS assets.
- Verify assets assigned to individual staff members against the official asset register.
- Prepare and maintain a complete inventory register using the approved Excel template.
- Coordinate movement planning with the UNDSS Coordination Team for assets identified for transfer.
- Prepare and organize all supporting disposal documentation for assets identified for disposal.
- Maintain complete and accurate inventory records.

- Minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in administration, logistics, warehouse operations, inventory control or asset management.
- Experience conducting physical inventory verification.
- Experience maintaining inventory records using Microsoft Excel and online platforms.
- Experience in records management and document control.
