The role

The Volunteer Liaison for CorpsAfrica/Uganda is responsible for managing a select group of Volunteers and supporting them throughout their service cycle, including emotional guidance, technical assistance, and administrative tasks.

What you'll do

  • Serve as a coach and mentor for Volunteers in project management and community-led development
  • Support Volunteer wellbeing, safety, and security during their service
  • Conduct routine travel to all Volunteer sites to visit projects and engage with community stakeholders
  • Create and provide reports on Volunteer activity
  • Coordinate special activities such as Site Development, Volunteer Deployment, and payments of allowances
  • Build and maintain community partnerships

What it takes

  • Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Finance, Community Development, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3–4 years of relevant professional experience
  • At least one year of field experience
  • Demonstrated experience working in multicultural environments
  • Strong commitment to youth leadership and participatory community development
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
