The role
The Volunteer Liaison for CorpsAfrica/Uganda is responsible for managing a select group of Volunteers and supporting them throughout their service cycle, including emotional guidance, technical assistance, and administrative tasks.
What you'll do
- Serve as a coach and mentor for Volunteers in project management and community-led development
- Support Volunteer wellbeing, safety, and security during their service
- Conduct routine travel to all Volunteer sites to visit projects and engage with community stakeholders
- Create and provide reports on Volunteer activity
- Coordinate special activities such as Site Development, Volunteer Deployment, and payments of allowances
- Build and maintain community partnerships
What it takes
- Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Finance, Community Development, or a related field
- Minimum of 3–4 years of relevant professional experience
- At least one year of field experience
- Demonstrated experience working in multicultural environments
- Strong commitment to youth leadership and participatory community development
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
