The role
UNICEF is seeking two Community Volunteer for Social Behavior Change (SBC) to support the Department of Borgou in Benin, focusing on community engagement and demand generation for vaccination.
What you'll do
- Support the development and implementation of SBC interventions and community engagement activities
- Contribute to the implementation and monitoring of communication strategies for vaccination in urban areas
- Support health platform actors in researching and vaccinating zero-dose and under-immunized children

What it takes
- At least 2 years of experience in planning, implementing, and monitoring communication and community engagement activities for vaccination and community health
- Previous volunteer (benevolent, internship) experience with a UN organization is highly appreciated
- Knowledge of local languages (Bariba, Dendi, Nagot, Fulfuldé)
- Residence in the Borgou Department or the intervention commune is mandatory
