The role
HAMAP-Humanitaire is seeking an experienced videographer and photographer to produce short documentary stories and social media content focusing on persons with disabilities and conflict-affected individuals.
What you'll do
- Develop a creative approach, filming plan, and shot list for each story in coordination with HAMAP
- Film interviews, personal stories, daily activities, interactions, locations, and supporting footage
- Produce documentary-style stories rather than conventional filmed interviews
- Capture high-quality video and clear audio using professional equipment
- Adapt the production process to participants’ accessibility and communication needs
- Edit each story with a maximum duration of 1 minute and 30 seconds

- Proven professional experience in videography, photography, and video editing
- Experience producing short documentaries, interviews, testimonials, human-centered stories, and social media content
- Strong visual storytelling, interviewing, filming, sound-recording, photography, and editing skills
- Ability to capture high-quality vertical and horizontal footage suitable for social media
- A strong understanding of respectful, inclusive, and non-stereotypical representation
- Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, informed consent, and ethical photography and videography principles
