The role

The Vice President at the American Cancer Society is responsible for driving high-level fundraising activities, managing a large team, and achieving aggressive revenue targets through corporate engagement, major gifts, and fundraising events.

  • Drive aggressive revenue growth through multi-faceted, multi-year corporate partnerships and major gifts

  • Identify and secure large-scale opportunities and build significant C-suite relationships
  • Serve as a lead relationship manager for top-tier accounts and partnerships
  • Contribute to regional strategy as a key member of the Region Leadership team

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • 10+ years of fundraising and team leadership experience
  • Proven ability to design and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies
  • Significant expertise in building and maintaining long-term relationships with major donors
  • Proven track record in soliciting and closing large 6- and 7-figure gifts
  • Proven success in leading, mentoring, and motivating high-performing development teams
