The role
The American Red Cross is seeking a customer-focused individual to drive vehicles for the delivery of blood products and materials in their community.
What you'll do
- Operate vehicle safely and within traffic laws
- Prepare for deliveries by verifying orders, loading vehicles, and maintaining route supply inventory
- Document temporary storage and transportation of blood, blood products, and materials as required
- Provide customer service by giving basic information and interacting in a positive manner with employees
- Maintain vehicle conditions by keeping it clean and checking fluid and gas levels

- High School or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license and clean DMV record required
- Physical requirements: use hands, reach with arms, talk or hear; frequently lift 10-50lbs unassisted, push carts up to 100 pounds on flat flooring or ramps; stand for long periods, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch
