The role
Assist with the delivery of a safe and developmentally high-quality educational experience for preschool children under the guidance of the UPK Lead Teacher.
What you'll do
- Assist Lead Teacher in daily preschool program activities
- Familiarize self with New York State Universal Preschool Guidelines and YMCA objectives
- Perform general housekeeping tasks
- Provide children with wholesome, nutritious snacks
- Report to work on time and stay until all children leave
- Maintain a safe, healthy environment for children
