The UNV Specialist in Health and Nutrition will support integrated health and nutrition interventions in affected municipalities post-earthquake in Aragua, Venezuela.
What you'll do
- Support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of integrated health and nutrition interventions in affected municipalities.
- Ensure integrated emergency response in health and nutrition for prioritized municipalities.
- Conduct periodic visits to affected communities, healthcare facilities, shelters, or temporary camps to identify needs, analyze gaps in service delivery, monitor interventions, and propose corrective actions.
- Identify and analyze coverage, quality, and access gaps in health and nutrition services, and propose priority actions to strengthen the response in affected municipalities.

- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of relevant experience in health and nutrition coordination with local authorities and institutional actors.
- Capacity to strengthen the competencies of healthcare personnel, partners, and community actors through training, technical guidance, field support, and adaptation of interventions to the local context.
- Knowledge and experience in supporting technical services for maternal, neonatal, and child health, nutrition, and/or essential services.
