The role
Support project origination, prepare marketing materials, assist with investment committee material, collect and analyze data, and assist in data collection and validation for the IDB Group's Capital Markets Division.
What you'll do
- Support project origination with the preparation of marketing materials and institutional presentations
- Assist Investment Officers with the preparation of investment committee material
- Collect and analyze relevant data and news on local and international debt capital markets and sustainable finance
- Help automate recurring reports, portfolio tracking tools, and project-monitoring processes using Excel, Power BI, and other analytical tools
- Assist in data collection, validation, and analysis related to debt capital markets internal programs

- Active undergraduate student in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, International Development or a related relevant discipline
- Fluency in English with a working knowledge of one other Bank language (Spanish, French, or Portuguese)
- Result-driven, collaborative, innovative, client-oriented, strong communicator, self-motivated, eager to learn, and excellent time management skills
- Superior analytical and quantitative skills
- Proficiency in PowerBI, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of Python
