- Assist in the section's advocacy efforts by drafting web stories, news items, and engaging content for institutional social media channels.
- Assist in organizing meetings, webinars, workshops, and training sessions, including the preparation of necessary background documents.
- Assist in maintaining and organizing internal databases and manage essential data files.
- Perform other related duties and administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

- Enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher) or a final year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor's level or equivalent).
- Should be computer literate in standard software applications.
- Have a demonstrated keen interest in the work of the United Nations and have a personal commitment to the ideals of the Charter.
- Have a demonstrated ability to successfully interact with individuals of different cultural backgrounds and beliefs, which includes willingness to understand and be tolerant of differing opinions and views.
- University degree must be in the area of economics, international trade, statistics, international relations or related field.
