The role

Supports the implementation of AML/CFT activities, including compiling documentation, preparing analytical notes, organizing workshops, and assisting with on-site visits during the third round mutual evaluation by the EAG.

What you'll do

  • Supports day-to-day implementation of AML/CFT portfolio, particularly related to Kyrgyzstan's third-round mutual evaluation by the EAG
  • Assists in compiling and reviewing documentation against FATF Recommendations and Methodology
  • Contributes to preparation of analytical notes, briefings, comparative overviews, and summaries of good practices
  • Supports organization and delivery of workshops, mock-assessment sessions, training events, and coordination meetings
  • Assists in preparing the on-site visit of the EAG assessment team
  • Contributes to communication and coordination with national counterparts, EAG Secretariat, partner agencies, and international organizations

What it takes

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in AML/CFT, financial monitoring, compliance, financial investigations, legal or policy analysis, supporting the organization of workshops, training events, expert meetings or missions
  • Familiarity with FATF Standards (40 Recommendations), FATF Methodology and work of FATF-style regional bodies
  • Strong analytical and research skills, excellent drafting skills in Russian and English
  • Good organizational and coordination skills, proficiency in MS Office
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team
