The role

The UN Coordination and Coherence Analyst supports BERA/UNSAG interventions for enhanced external relations and advocacy with other UN Entities and intergovernmental partners, focusing on UN coordination and coherence.

What you'll do

  • Support BERA/UNSAG interventions for enhanced external relations and advocacy with other UN Entities and intergovernmental partners
  • Develop, maintain, and nourish close relationships with select Member States and UN entities
  • Provide support for UNDP’s participation in intergovernmental and interagency meetings and conferences
  • Contribute to team efforts in supporting UNDP’s implementation of the UNDS reform and engagement in UN80 work streams

  • Advanced university degree (Master's or equivalent) in International Relations, Political Science or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience with master’s degree, or 4 years with bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in providing comprehensive support to inter-agency and intergovernmental meetings
  • Fluency in English; working knowledge of other UN languages desirable
