The role

Tutors, also known as Individualized Learning Specialists (ILSs), work alongside teachers to facilitate student learning through collaborative centers and targeted small-group academic support. The role involves motivating students, managing classroom culture, and conducting progress monitoring to ensure academic growth in literacy and math. ILSs play a vital role in interpreting data to drive intervention decisions and communicating student progress to families and staff.
