What you'll do
- Translate, review, and edit six technical documents on gender and climate change policies from Spanish to English
- Collaborate with a team of two other volunteers to ensure consistency and quality of translations
- Use tools for translation assistance and ensure accuracy and institutional language consistency
- Ensure the precision and coherence of terminology, content, and style in the translated documents
What it takes
- University degree in Translation, Communication, Philology, Linguistics, International Relations, Social Sciences or related fields
- Proven experience in translating and reviewing technical, academic, or institutional documents
- Excellent written command of Spanish and the target language (English, Portuguese, or French)
- Ability to translate and review extensive, technical, and conceptually complex documents, maintaining the accuracy and sense of the original content
- Experience in using translation assistance tools and/or artificial intelligence tools as support for translation, review, or editing processes
- Experience in editing or style correction of technical or institutional publications
